Recommendations to Go to the Beach With Your Dog

Going to the beach with your dog is very fun, but you also have to be proactive. For starters not all beaches accept dogs and to finish we can not think that dogs are immune to the Sun and they are not affected by radiation or heat ...

So you can go to the beach calm with your four-legged friends, here are 10 practical tips:

1- Hydration: Take plenty of water and make sure you drink very often and bring an umbrella.

2- Bags: Be careful and carry bags to meet your needs.

3- Heat: Avoid the hottest hours.

4- Depth: Avoid the deepest areas with more currents.

5- Do not force it: Do not force dogs that do not want to bathe. If you have not been used to them since you were little, they may be afraid.

6- The sand: Use protectors for the bearings of your paws (we burn with the sand and they too!)

7- Sunscreen: Short-haired dogs that do not have skin on their tummy should be protected from the sun with dog sunscreen (do not use the human sunscreen).

8 - Salt water: Be careful not to drink a lot of salt water, if you drink a lot you can have diarrhea (if you see that the diarrhea does not stop go to the vet).

9- Vigilance: Watch him while he bathes.

10- Shower: When you get back from the beach, dip it with fresh water. Watch for sand or water inside the ears.

Another tip that we give you is that you contact the town hall of the beach where you go, to make sure that it is a beach that accepts dogs.
